Jackfruit contains a lot of sugar and a high amount of calories. Many studies show that foods rich in potassium which is very abundant in jackfruit, are useful to lower blood pressure. 100g of jackfruit contains up to 300mg, and many phytonutrients (lignans, isoflavones, and saponins) which are very beneficial for health, anti-cancer, hypertension, and stomach ulcers, as well as slowing down cell degeneration, and improving skin vitality.
